Professional Pressure Washing Near You

Over time, driveways, patios and other outdoor surfaces can become covered with dirt, algae, moss, weeds and black spots. Our professional pressure washing service removes this built-up contamination and helps restore the original appearance of your outdoor areas.

We clean a range of surfaces, including:
• Block paving
• Concrete
• Patios
• Indian sandstone
• Paving slabs
• Tarmac
• Paths and walkways

A thorough cleaning process

Every surface is assessed before cleaning so that we can choose a suitable pressure, nozzle and cleaning method. More delicate materials require a different approach from hard concrete or block paving, and we take care to avoid unnecessary damage to the surface.

Where required, we apply a professional cleaning treatment before pressure washing to help loosen organic growth and tackle stubborn marks. We then clean the surface using professional pressure washing equipment, paying attention to edges, corners and areas where dirt commonly builds up.

Some deep black spots, lichen and staining may require additional treatment. We will explain what results are realistically achievable before starting the work.

We move pots, lightweight furniture and other accessible items where practical. Once the cleaning is complete, the area is rinsed down and surrounding surfaces are left tidy.

Block paving re-sanding

Pressure washing removes loose jointing sand from between block paving. Once the driveway or patio is fully dry, we can return to apply fresh kiln-dried sand to the joints.

Re-sanding helps support the blocks, reduces movement and leaves the paving with a more complete finish. This can be included as part of your quotation.

How much does pressure washing cost?

The cost depends on the size of the area, the surface material, its condition, access and whether additional treatment or re-sanding is required. Send us some photographs and approximate measurements for a quotation.

Do you re-sand block paving?

Yes. Pressure washing removes loose sand from the joints, so we can return once the paving is completely dry and apply fresh kiln-dried sand. Re-sanding can be included in your quotation.

Can you remove black spots from a patio?

Many black spots can be removed or considerably reduced using a combination of pressure washing and professional treatment. Results depend on the surface, the age of the staining and how deeply it has penetrated.

Do you use cleaning chemicals?

We may use professional cleaning treatments where they are needed to remove algae, lichen and other organic staining. The treatment and strength used will depend on the surface being cleaned and the surrounding area.

Can you pressure wash Indian sandstone?

Yes, but Indian sandstone must be cleaned carefully. We assess its condition and use a suitable level of pressure to reduce the risk of damaging the stone or its surface texture.

Can you clean tarmac?

Yes. Tarmac requires lower pressure and a more controlled cleaning method than concrete or block paving. We inspect the condition first and will advise if cleaning could expose existing wear or damage.

Will pressure washing remove weeds?

Pressure washing removes visible weeds and loose growth from paving joints. It does not permanently prevent weeds from returning because seeds and roots can remain beneath the surface.

Do I need to move furniture and plant pots?

Please remove smaller items, vehicles and anything fragile before we arrive. We can help move some lightweight items where practical, but the cleaning area should be as clear as possible.

How long does the surface take to dry?

Drying time depends on the weather, surface material and shade. Block paving must be completely dry before kiln-dried sand can be applied, so re-sanding may need to take place on a separate day.
